If you are deaf or hard-of-hearing, and you need a lawyer, we can help you find the right kind of lawyer in your home area. We will make sure that the lawyer provides you with whatever you need to communicate with the lawyer: sign language interpreters, oral interpreters, Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART), etc.

We provide the following services to deaf and hard of hearing people:
  • Referrals to accessible lawyers and legal services
  • Information about legal rights and services
  • Adovcacy services to protect your rights with lawyers, courts, police, doctors, hospitals, theaters, museums, schools, and other places
  • Assistance to the professionals that work with you: lawyers, court staff, and law enforcement officials, hospital staff and doctors, interpreters and captionists
